Willowtree Farm update

Hey Willowtree CSA members,

We just wanted to update you on things that are happening on the farm. Right now we are still picking strawberries, but they are coming to an end soon. We are now also picking lots of new crops. We have started to pick sweet peas, green and yellow beans, broccoli and cauliflower, zucchini, cucumbers, leaf lettuce, fresh garlic and basil and red and black raspberries. So watch for these crops in your CSA boxes in the next couple of weeks. Also in the next couple of weeks our delicious sweet corn will be ready.

CSA Welcome

Dear CSA Members,
    Thank-you for choosing the CSA program at Willowtree Farm. We apologize for the delayed response, the Farm Market is now open and things have been very busy. We are very pleased with the recent downfall of rain and are hoping for a great growing season. The very first day for the CSA will be on Tuesday, June 15th. If you are having the baskets delivered to your house you can expect to see them between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. If for any reason you will not be home when the deliveries are being made, please feel free to leave a cooler and ice-pack on your front step and we will gladly pack your food in it for you, so it stays fresh. For those of you picking up your baskets, you can feel free to come to our Farm Market anytime after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday night or all-day Wednesday. For those residents of Newmarket, your pick-up is at the South Lake Hospital Farmer's Market in the visitor's parking lot from 11 :00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  For the first week of the CSA (weather depending) we are hoping to have fresh garlic, strawberries, peas, hothouse tomatoes and lettuce.For those of you wanting to see where your food comes from, we are in the midst of planning an Open House/Farm Tour Members Day in the near future. We will get back to you when we have a date in mind, so you can mark it on your calendars. It would be greatly appreciated if you would send us an e-mail back, letting us know you received this message so we know that all of your information is correct.
